At ST Containers, we're excited to share that we, along with our sister company Sussex Transport, are proudly sponsoring Team SEASOAR in this year’s Atlantic Challenge, also called The World’s Toughest Row.
This incredible race will see teams row over 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean, from the Canary Islands to Antigua. It’s a true test of endurance, teamwork, and grit, and we couldn’t be prouder to have our logos riding along on their boat for such a worthy cause.
Organised by Atlantic Campaigns, the race is unlike anything else. Teams face 3,000 miles of open ocean, rowing day and night in specialized boats designed to tackle the extreme conditions. They’ll battle unpredictable weather, massive waves, and the mental and physical exhaustion that comes with rowing 24 hours a day, all while covering that vast stretch of water between Spain and the Caribbean.
It’s an event that’s as much about mental toughness as it is physical stamina. Competitors face isolation, sleep deprivation, and the challenge of surviving in a self-sufficient way—because there’s no outside help once they’re out there!
Team SEASOAR is a group of four determined rowers who’ve committed themselves to not only completing this epic race but also raising money for two important charities: Lyme Disease UK and The EFT Foundation. Led by Niall Brannigan, the team is passionate about using this challenge to make a real difference in the world, and we’re thrilled to be supporting them on this journey.
Want to learn more about their mission? Check out their JustGiving page to see how they’re making waves for these causes.
At ST Containers, we’re all about supporting efforts that build community and push boundaries—whether it’s helping a local business get set up with a storage container or backing a charity challenge like this one. Team SEASOAR’s dedication to this race matches our values of teamwork, resilience, and determination. We’re honored to have our logo on their boat and to be part of their incredible mission.
This isn’t just any row across the Atlantic. It’s known for being one of the toughest rowing events in the world for a reason. Team SEASOAR will face enormous waves, blazing heat, and sleepless nights as they row in two-hour shifts around the clock. Over the course of the race, they’ll row more than 1.5 million strokes—all while raising awareness and funds for their chosen causes.
We’ll be following Team SEASOAR’s journey and keeping you updated along the way, through our social channels and our blog. You can also follow their progress directly through the links below. Be sure to cheer them on and consider donating to their charities if you can!
